Scholé Classics is an apprentice-level class in which scholars gain the ability to recognize and understand principles and forms through the rich exploration of literature, art, architecture, and music in a scholé setting. As Christopher Perrin said, “Scholé is undistracted time to study and contemplate the things that are most worthwhile, usually with like-minded friends, often in a beautiful place with good food and drink.” Wisdom and discernment emerges through these regular encounters with Truth, Goodness, and Beauty.
This two-day workshop serves as a beta-test for the broader project. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the very beginning of something meaningful — and to have your voice shape the direction it grows. Because it is condensed from three days into two, certain prior knowledge and experience will be assumed — we recommend that participants have prior experience mentoring LEMI Scholar Projects before attending. Feedback will also be gathered from participants throughout the year.
